To facilitate investment in the country, the Pakistani government grants a 30-day single entry business visa upon arrival to businessmen from the following countries listed here.
Interested business travelers are advised to apply for an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) at least 48-72 hours before the intended travel date. Please note: You can declare your intention by submitting an online visa application through the Pakistan Online Visa System by clicking the “Apply” button. You can travel to Pakistan if you receive a valid ETA to apply.

You can apply for two types of visas online:
First Time (New): You can apply for a new visa if you do not have a valid Pakistan visa.
Eligibility
To use a business visa on arrival, you must be a citizen of the countries listed here.
Required documents
- The photo
- Passport
- Confirmation of registration of the company that sends the invitation (SECP / Chamber of Commerce Certificate)
Any of the following:
- Letter of recommendation from the CCI of the respective foreign country
- Letter of invitation from a commercial organization duly recommended by an interested trade organization in Pakistan – To receive this REQUIRED DOCUMENT – Apply through Pakistan’s e-business invitation letter system.
- Reference letter from the BOI Honorary Investment Advisor / Commercial Attaché.
You need to upload proof of legal residence if you are not in your home country and are applying for a visa from a third country, this is a must! The document can be downloaded as a supporting document.
Validity period and validity period
A business visa on arrival is issued for 30 days.

Visa issuance is the prerogative of the Pakistani government.
